“Pavo” nominated for Hedda Price – Sunnmørsposten

Artistic director Hanne Tømta was honored with Hedda Award as the year’s best director for staging of Chekhov’s “Three Sisters.” 91 year old Espen Skjønberg got Hedda Price as best male partner for their efforts in the same performance.

– Her grip makes the play with its wide role gallery fresh for us, it is that we see an old acquaintance for the first time, Printer jury plot organized by the Russian classic. It is the first time a sitting theater is honored with a Hedda Award.



Marø nominated

“The peacock – an unfair musical” was among five nominees for best children / youth under Hedda Award Sunday.

Hedda Award is Norwegian theater’s biggest awards, which took place at the National Theatre on Sunday 14 June. It awarded 11 Hedda prices during the evening at the National Theatre’s venerable main stage.

The coveted prices for Best Actor and Actress went to Marie Blokhus for the role of Allis in “Bird Tribunal” by Agnes Ravatn at The Norwegian Theatre and Torbjørn Eriksen for the title role of Hamlet at Rogaland Theatre. Stavanger Theatre’s Hamlet-production directed by Kjersti Horn was also named this year show.
