Thank you for your support for “Fredrikssons factory” star Magnus Härenstam death.
SEOGHØR.NO: It was not just rojal conviviality in Sweden on Saturday 13 June, when the Swedish Prince Carl Philip (36) got his Sofia Hellqvist (30) in Stockholm.
In the midst of the wedding dinner came the sad news that one of Sweden’s leading actors – Magnus Härenstam was dead. He was 73 years. He has recently fought a tough battle against cancer.
For Norwegians are the jovial Swede best known as the factory owner Fredriksson in the TV series “Fredrikssons factory” which went on NRK in the early 90th numeral.

Härenstam fans have received death message with grief – and shortly before he lost his battle with cancer, was memory page “Magnus in våra hjärtan “established to honor the actor on Facebook.
On the Facebook page also has his own family wrote a touching message:

Remembering his friend and colleague
In “Fredrikssons factory”, he played alongside the Norwegian actors Britt Elisabeth Haagensli (61), deceased Aud Schønemann, Anne Marie Ottersen (70), Elsa Lystad (84) and Geir Kvarme (52).
For VG telling colleagues how much Härenstam great personality helped them in their job as actors:
– He got the best out of us who played with him for he was fond of both people and their profession. It was noticed immediately, and it rubbed off on us, says Haagensli said.
Geir Kvarme received death message with great sadness:
– Now I am very sad. This is a bad Saturday he told VG.
Anne Marie Ottersen shelves Härenstam, VG, for its great personality:
– We had the a wonderful time in “Fredrikssons factory.” Magnus was an amazingly wonderful, generous, warm and gentle man. I have only good things to say about him.
Got declared cancer free
Spring 2013 got Härenstam told by doctors that he was cancer free and it was a happy actor who could finally look forward to a bright future on stage again. For the Swedish newspaper Expressen he explained that he was optimistic:
– I feel fresher for every day. My wonderful doctor has succeeded in stopping the cancer spread, although I have to continue to go on medication. But there is nothing to say on. The sun shines and I am more energetic than ever.
Härenstam leaves his wife Birgitta and three children.
