Concert Review: One Direction – VG

One Direction wobbles here and there, only occasionally in unison.

British One Direction teenage popens “local boys”. Less contend pleasure than their slick American competitors. Unaffected, shaggy hair, disinterested in choreographed dance and matching clothes. They are a more credible “lads” than most others in the same industry. Although cohesion got a shot across the bow when Zayn Malik – the band “badboy” -alibi – left them in ours.

This lack of discipline makes them “boyband” -bransjens most sympathetic. It also enables them to offer an extremely uneven concert attraction.

The fact that they find it embarrassing and cheesy dancing and taking choreography, is both charming and annoying. Large parts of the concert is downright amateurish – like an unusually lavish touches in an event for the youth.

The four band members are long range and wander for themselves at each end of the huge stage, out of touch with both the public and each other. The energy is high. But it goes to waste.

The large Set umorsomme long ears between songs ruining the flow of the experience, and it does not help that it is difficult to perceive what is said. None of them are “butter singers,” or particularly distinctive vocalists. Louis Tomlinson is the biggest culprit in this respect. He can not sing all .

Liam Payne, the band’s something slick “master of ceremonies” is better. Likewise Harry Styles, who is the most gifted Star among them. Niall Horan, the band’s most forthright member, set the guitar now, and stays a bit in the background. He seems shy in comparison to the others.

The band took its toll – with four- five of their best songs in rap. Midway through the concert was more or less broke, in an admittedly more cohesive and visually focused ballad party.

Dog. Only chronically cranky people could avoid grin when fireworks narrow as the highest and all the lights were turned on at the end, and good pop as “The Best Song Ever”, “Alive” and “What Makes You Beautiful ‘did twenty-odd thousand young people happy at a Friday night in June.
