Lee was well known for roles as wizard Saruman in “Lord of the Rings” trilogy and Count Dooku in “Star Wars.”
Lee died in a London hospital Sunday after being hospitalized with respiratory and heart problems. But death was not known to the public until Thursday.
The decision to wait several days to announce the death, was taken by Lee’s widow because she would inform everyone in the family first, writes newspaper The Guardian .
Lee starred in over 200 movies and TV series, often as the villain rather than hero.
