Rickety Ant-Man – Adresseavisen

A separate film on the Marvel character Ant-Man has been planned since the 80s, but was reportedly postponed because of Disney blockbuster “Honey, I shrunk the kids” from 1989. Ant- Mans super power goes namely also seems to shrink and become great again, thanks to dr. Pyms particle that changes the distance between atoms, and exactly what is actually a bit cooler than it might sound.

Michael Douglas was behind a memorable appearance in “Liberace” from 2013, and in “Ant-Man” he also does the job that Dr. Hank Pym. Paul Rudd is on his side rather anemic as Scott Lang / Ant-Man. As former jailbird struggling Scott Lang stacking a normal life on their feet, and he will thus not spend time with his little daughter. This eventually becomes the impetus to enter the risky role of ant man, Lang trained to escape both stilettos, vacuums and worse. With the retired dr. Pym as mentor applies it to get the better of Pyms apostate assistant, who have their own plans for the use of Pym particle.

The film’s intro has a swift Referring to the title character’s comic book origins, but it is still very possible that “Ant-Man” not quite hit among hardcore fans. The reason is that “Ant-Man” at times is more characterized by sentimental family film than action packed superhero adventure, and the film in its entirety also lack temperature and pressure to maintain interest over time. “Ant-Man” appears as a light limp hybrid, not entirely successful as either one or the other, and the film powers nor to awaken a sense that much is at stake.

Ant- Mans process into a subatomic realm where time and space are irrelevant could have made the story really interesting, but it will be a short visit. The fact that Pym particle potentially can alter reality basic structure, should also have been food for the writers, but this scarcely mentioned. Misfortunes between fathers and daughters given a great deal, while not entirely credible loyalty squeeze becomes somewhat inadequately portrayed. Several gags are in excess predictable, and there is no shortage also the spectacular action scenes, although it picks up towards the end. Occasionally is “Ant-Man” totally ok entertainment, but the movie tries to encompass too wide and lose their balance in the experiment.
