After Jeremy Clarkson did not renew its contract with the BBC after switching to one of the program’s producers during a recording, the two other “Top Gear” -programlederne to leave BBC.
Now the trio has found a new employer. Twitter confirmed pouring service Amazon Prime that it has signed Clarkson, May and Hammond.
– It feels like I’ve climbed out of a small plane into a spaceship, says Jeremy Clarkson said in a statement.
Hard competition
The program, which still has not got a name, will premiere next year. Amazon Prime is currently unavailable in Norway but is the second largest flow service in the US by Netflix.
– Several of our customers have said that they will see the gang back on the screen. We are excited to see what Jeremy, Richard and James are going to create and we are confident that it will be one of the most talked about television programs next year, said Jay Marine from Amazon.
It should have been fierce competition presenter trio and everything from Netflix to a Russian TV channel has been named as new employers for Clarkson, Hammond and May.
“Top Gear” has been among the BBC’s most popular programs years and the channel should have earned in just under two billion annually on motoring show.

Although the trio have left the “Top Gear”, the program should still go on BBC. Radio personality Chris Evans will lead motoring, but the BBC still looking after two other program managers.
According to the Daily Mail’s Formula 1 star Jenson Button and the former model Jodie Kidd the hottest candidates.
