Dafoe has agreed to Sten – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): The last time Tommy Sten made Hollywood movie, he raked in over a billion kroner.

With his new film “What happened to Monday?” He has already secured Glenn Close and Noomi Rapace to cast.

But there is a the latest Hollywood actor who join the movie.

Confirms Dafoe

For Radio Atlas confirmed Sten this morning that they have received with Willem Dafoe on the team, reports Altaposten.

– We’ve got the one that has been in the game long, namely Willem Dafoe, told Sten of the radio channel.



Future Film

Wirkolas new film is set to the future, in a world where overcrowding makes that only allowed to have a child because of overcrowding. In the movie plays Rapace Seven sisters in a family hiding from the authorities.

– Dafoe will play the person who raised sjulingene and who have had a strong influence why the sisters are who they are and how they survive in this world, elaborated Sten further.

Oscar-nominated

Willem Dafoe has previously played in blockbusters such as “The Grand Budapest Hotel,” “Spiderman” and “Platoon.”

He has also had roles in Danish Lars von Trier’s controversial film “Anti-Christ” and “Nymphomaniac”.

The 60 years old actor has previously been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role twice during his career.
