Amanda Award for Operations Engineer at Ahus – Rome Blad

For 11 years ago he fled to Norway. Friday won Olivier Mukut Amanda Award.

The engineer and actor Olivier Mukut won the award for co-starred in Rune Denstad Langlos refugee comedy “Welcome to Norway”, says Page 2.

Ordinarily he is technical engineer at Ahus.

From the time he was six years until he was 17 years old, he lived and his family in a refugee camp in Malawi. When he was 18, the family received from Congo to come to Norway. Now he lives in Mjøndalen.

VG said Mukut: – This award is for all refugees there who are trying everything they can to get a better life. This is for them, to show that anything is possible.

Mukut was a significant presence as a refugee in Rune Denstad Langlos film “Welcome to Norway!”
