HAUGESUND (Dagbladet): – Jaaa !, shouts Jakob Oftebro (30) and folds around the neck of his little brother, Jonas Hoff Oftebro (20), when he arrives at the press room just after Amanda Awards ceremony is over.

30-year-old had announced that he wanted the film “Birkebeiners”, where he plays a leading role, would walk away with the People’s Amanda, but the award went to “El Clasico”.

Oftebro says that it helped that movie kid brother Jonas Hoff Oftebro player, “wave”, received the coveted award “the year’s best film.”

Actor Brothers

The two sons of actor Nils Ole Oftebro have both made it gjevt in the same profession, and younger brother were clearly impressed by big brother achievements as a presenter at this year’s Amanda.

– He is very clever, I’m so proud. It’s a hard job to do, but he was completely raw, Jonas says with a wide smile.

The young Oftebro seems well was really great to win an Amanda.

More awards for “Welcome to Norway”

“Welcome to Norway” was one of the films that won the more prestigious Amanda Awards during Friday’s ceremony.

– I was once a refugee, but now I’m standing here, says one touched Olivier Mukata (28) after having received the Amanda award for best supporting actor during the annual film awards ceremony in Haugesund.

– I want to dedicate this award for all refugees and to show that one must not stop dreaming, everything is possible, says Olivier Mukut Dagbladet the press room after he has gotten Amanda statue in hand.

Mukata is originally from Congo and came to Norway as refugee in 2005. he won the prize for her role in the film “Welcome to Norway”, a comedy from a refugee reception led by Rune Denstad Langlo.

Mukata reveals that he had not dreamed of putting a highly regarded film award on the shelf.

– no, I have not really dreamed about film awards. But I was once asked if I dreamed about Oscar, and when I said I so, must start with a Amanda here at home. Now I have it, so now I’m ready for Oscar, he smiles.

Price award to Mukata was praised by colleagues from “Welcome to Norway”.

– I was very touched when he received the award. He is an amazing guy and we started to bawl the whole gang, says colleague Anders Baasmo Christiansen who has starred in the movie.

A little later in the evening gets Christiansen even the prestigious Best Actor for his performance in same movie.

– Some nominations are one more pleased than anyone. Thank you wrote this role for me, thanks, said Christiansen director Rune Denstad Langlo from the scene.

Then he embarked on tonight’s longest and most passionate speech in which he completes praised both director and everyone involved in the movie.

Engaged speech

– It came busload on busload of integrated Norwegians and former asylum seekers on the set, while I would play racist. It feels disgusting, but the extras gave me pats on the back, and they Digga creating comedy from a reception center, and it made my job a lot easier, he said from the stage and added:

– we are one planet, we must take care of each other!

Afterward told Christiansen press that he meant “Welcome to Norway” was an important film, and that was why he was so engaged.

for Dagbladet says Christiansen that he believes it is important to have a comedy about refugees, to show that one can mess with the refugees and that they are people like everyone else.

– We need to start caring about each other, he said.

Four awards to “Louder Than Bombs”

this year’s best children’s film goes to Knutsen and Ludvigsen and the grisly Rasputin – producer Eric Vogel for Tordenfilm, director Rasmus A. Sivertsen Rune Spaans.

Best documentary goes to “Dugme – the Button” – directing Paul Refsdal, producer Ingvil Giske for Medieoperatørene.

the film “Louder Than Bombs” takes grand slam during award ceremonies, with four awards.

Jakob Ihre won the prize for best Cinematography for “Louder Than Bombs”.

Best screenplay went to Eskil Vogt and Joachim Trier for “Louder Than Bombs”.

Earlier in the day it was handed out eight awards at Haugesund City Hall, and there including the coveted directing award went to Joachim Trier for “Louder Than Bombs”, the film also won best Editing.

Michael Fast Bender shall awarded the prize for best film.

– Good evening, it’s the only thing I can in Norwegian, he said.
