Kygo handpick Norwegian agencies simplified launch – Campaign

Wednesday evening collection to Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll, better known as the artist Kygo, launched on the roof of Steen & Strøm. Gørvell-Dahll collection named Kygo Life, and includes both clothing and audio products.

– It will be great fun to finally show what we have worked with, says the world-renowned to be played at the closing ceremony in Rio Sunday night NRK.

But Campaign can simultaneously with Kygo presents his new fashion collection divulge agencies that are handpicked by Kygo and his team to promote the new brand Kygo Life. It’s Jon Inge Gullikstad, the man who built up Johaug brand and stands behind marks Ulvang and Bavac, who is the initiator of Kygo Life.

He has teamed up with Kygo made sure to acquire a wholly Norwegian line-up of agencies to promote the brand internationally.

Panorama Design, who also worked with Gullikstad on Bavac and Johaug, has been involved from the start and is behind the visual identity, more each platform, product design, packaging and retail.

– credibility and quality we have put at the top when we developed products, packaging and visual effects. We wanted to create a brand that does not require you Kygo fan. This has been important for Kyrre. Already in the first meeting, we heard that “this should be something I myself would have gone with,” says agency manager Jens-Petter Ring in Panorama Design.

Kygo have been involved in the whole process of developing, manufacturing and marketing. He is an owner of Kygo Life and creative director of the brand, and has given the agency Good Morning responsible for communications, marketing and digital.

– Fashion and music builds your identity, and the more we have learned and know Kyrre, the more we see how carefully he is on the craft. He takes no shortcuts. This has been a key issue in building around communication, explains agency manager in Good Morning, Eirik Mountain shaft.

Good Morning were joined by Fred Jonny and TYD the team to record the interactive movie.

– In addition to a “brand site” which tells the story, we have created online shop, commercials and content to social and own channels. Now we’re excited about how this will be received.

Trigger brought in PR work
Trigger has been responsible for public relations, and JCP Event had directed at the launch party.

– When a great artist who Kygo going to launch something that until now has been outside his core area is important for both him and the fans that this does not compromise on what he is most famous for, namely music, says says agency manager of Trigger, Bente Kvam Kristoffersen.

She elaborates:

– For us, it has been incredibly inspiring to see how passionately committed Kyrre has been in the whole process of Kygo Life, and how much of the value of music he has taken as we work with the collection. Our goal with the communication has throughout been to show the outside world just that.

More fashion profiles gave Kygo approved for collection after the show Wednesday night. Fashion Blogger asked to file some Celine Aagard was impressed designer debut after getting a sneak peek at clothing collection Wednesday afternoon.

– Here Kygo drawn clear lines, where you see the elements of music in the garments, with sound waves and easily identifiable effects, says Aagard NRK.
