Criminal Minds star was fired after a fight on the set – 2 TV

LATEST: ABC and CBS reported Friday night that Thomas Gibson has been sacked after violent episode.

The actor Thomas Gibson (54) is in rough weather after he started a fight on the set of one of the producers of Criminal Minds.

Crime series is in the recording of its 12th season, and Thomas Gibson has had a starring role Aaron Hotchner ever since its inception in 2005.

– Regret what happened

in the past he had also been responsible for directing some of the episodes. Now there has been tussle behind the scenes.

Gibson should have turned to the other person when they they did not agree on how to record one of the scenes.

– We were disagree about the design, and there was a quarrel. I regret that it happened. We all want to work together as a team to make the series as good as possible. It has always done, and we will continue to do so, says Gibson in a statement to Deadline.



Composed of episodes

Gibson was promptly exercise suspended and shall have written him out of the script. The recording of the TV series will continue as planned, and the premiere date, September 28, approaching by leaps and bounds.

On Friday evening commented ABC and CBS matter for the first time, and then they made it clear that the actor had been sacked – after 12 years in the popular series.

– Thomas Gibson has been sacked from Criminal Minds. We will come back to more details on how this will be resolved in the series, they wrote in the statement, which Variety has received.

Disappears abruptly from the series

It is expected that Gibson’s character will appear in two episodes of the new season, before he disappears. Gibson had not returned to the set to record more scenes, then it becomes a challenge for the creators to explain why he disappeared.

– I love Criminal Minds, and I have put my entire soul into this series the last 12 years. I had hoped to be with until the end, but it will not be possible now. I just want to thank the writers, producers, actors, our fantastic crew, and most of all, the best fans one could wish for, says Gibson Friday night.

The incident is reminiscent of the BBC scandal where Jeremy Clarkson sent to a producer during a Top Gear recording. Clarkson was supendert and later fired after the incident.
