“Top Model” meets as a reality study in intrigue, group mentality and jealousy. But the packaging is duller in the “form full” round.

After three years of absence from the screen has “Top Model” has gone from TV3 to TVNorge – rather FEM and model seedlings have gone from modellspinkle to so-called shape fullest. The models, which many have size 38 or 40, has been called just that, even before the premiere created reactions.

But despite several curves, shapes and variety, appears this season as a much grayer, dimmed variation than we are used to. Yes, participants live in a big house in Lisbon with pool and jacuzzi, but we see more hoboing in couch or bed than bolt ring in the bathroom.
The abrupt cityscape cliffs with jerky zoom to techno tones does not work wonders to increase the glamor factor, nor a photoshoot in fish sludge. Narrator voice could easily sold housewife products in the 50s, but not sliding playfully into the “Top Model” in 2016.
It should be said that the first episodes have the ungrateful task of establishing 18 unfamiliar faces and new panel of judges. It tends to get more speed and color when challenges run in earnest and more is falling.

And still there are some who do not realize that you do not win “Top Model” about creating drama because you have to keep in a fish.
