She thinks she was bitten by ticks last year. The disease is complex and varied, and can be difficult to detect .
In the interview with ABC she says that there has been a great strain to get a diagnosis.
– I was bedridden in October last year , she says and explains that she was with a number of specialists and doctors without that they found out why she was seriously ill.

Lavigne is with Nickelback Chad Kroeger artist. She says in the interview that her husband, family, and fans have helped her through the tough times.
Ticks found in several varieties worldwide. In Norway are eight species such bloodsucking mites. Between 2003 and 2005 it was found two additional species.
The Tick ( Ixodes ricinus , also called forest bear , bonds could man and others) is the most common. It is the one who can spread the infection to humans by biting stuck and suck blood.
Lyme disease, also called Lyme disease, Borrelia and Lyme borreliosis, caused partly by the bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi by tick bites.
Infection causes a syndrome consisting of pain in the joints as a typical effect.
