Now Princess Charlotte baptized – Seoghør.no

The gathering cheered with excitement when Prince William and Duchess Kate arrived baptism with their two young.

SEOGHØR.NO: Sunday July 5 was little princess Charlotte (2 mths.) Baptized in St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham.

According to Telegraph arrived in Prince William (33) and Duchess Kate (33) on foot, a folk arrival triggered great applause from those attending. He Leiender at Prince George, while she rolled the little princess in stroller.

Daily Mail’s correspondent Rebecca English shared a photo of Duke family on Twitter, where Prince George greets the priest before her little sister baptism.

Queen Elizabeth (89) and Duke Philip (94) arrived in a dark Range Rover, as did Prince Charles and Camilla .

Only the kins were invited to the solemn ceremony, but people had thus shown up in droves outside to get a glimpse of the royals.

The Princess sponsors was announced shortly before baptism, the grandfather Prince Charles’ (66) official website. Tom van Straubenzee and James Meade, two close friends of Prince William, has been appointed Godparents. Duchess Kate’s close childhood friend, Sophie Carter, being the godmother.

tobarns Parents have also appointed their respective family members of sponsors. Williams cousin Laura Fellowes, the daughter of Diana’s sister Cynthia Jane Fellowes (58), is also godmother. And Kate’s cousin, Adam Middleton, will be godfather.

The Little Princess, who was born on May 2nd this year, was baptized in the same beautiful christening robe like that big brother Prince George used his baptism in 2013. Women in silk, satin and cotton, are made by Queen Elizabeth fixed seamstress, Angela Kelly.

The dress has still steeped in history. It is a replica of the 170 years old dress as Queen Victoria had made his first daughter in 1841. The dress should have been used for over 60 infant baptisms – and was exhausted when it fell on the museum in 2004.

According to the Twitter profile of Kensington Palace, the princess was baptized in dåpefonten The Lily Font. The beautiful dåpefoten with accompanying pot was purchased by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in 1840.

Dåpefonten, which has been used in virtually every royal baptisms in the past 175 years, is the common part of the crown jewels in the Tower of London. According Express is the font “mission” in Sandringham probably the first time it leaves the capital.
