Grint is most famous for his role as “Ron Weasley” in the Harry Potter films.
He earned 24 million British pounds, the equivalent of 260 million Norwegian kroner, to play Harry Potter best friend through the eight adaptation of the successful book series.
According to the British newspaper the Guardian has a judge dismissed the actor’s lawsuit against the British tax agency (HMRC), which he believes prevented him from changing date of an accounting period. It made Grint in 2010 and 2011 were affected by the new tax rules.
Grint case was dismissed because the judge felt the actor failed to show a proper accounting in the current period. In addition, the judge it was the IRS’s responsibility that Grint was trying to avoid paying taxes.
The actor himself, who began his career at age 12, acknowledged that his knowledge of personal finances was “quite limited” under the appropriate time, and that he had handed over responsibility for the accounts of its father Nigel and his accountant Dan Clay.
