Calling for a boycott of “Game of Thrones” after controversial scene – Side2

Tuesday we wrote that Sophie Turner loved the brutal scenes in the last episode of “Game of Thrones”, where she was raped by her new husband, while Theon was forced to watch.

It was clear that many were angry, but now encouraged to boycott.

It was decidedly a brutal scene, which some critics believed was both cheap and unnecessary.

The feminist ago The Mary Sue declare now that they no longer will cover “Game of Thrones.” They believe that the stage was unnecessary and that the rape did nothing to propel the story or the characters on.

Also in social media, there are several reporting that they no longer want to continue watching the series.

This is far from the first time the series has aroused strong reactions. Many also reacted when Cercei was raped by drill Jamie Lannister, and when Daenerys Targaryen was raped by Khal Drogo early in the series.



Violence

In all got violence against women much attention in the last round of the wildly popular series.

Many now hope that Sansa will be allowed to continue to show their strength on in this season where Side2, after watching the first few episodes, reported that now there are girls who ruler.
