Was praised by Mette-Marit – NRK

The Crown Princess will run trains from Trondheim to Lillehammer and halt several places along the way to help the interest in books and reading.

Talked about identity

The authors Helga Flatland and Roy Jacobsen was invited to the first event in Trondheim library. Flatland, which comes from Seljord, has released the critically acclaimed books: Be if you can, stand if you must (2010), All the home. Nobody will return (2011) and There are no whole (2013).

Flatland says the conversation between the three went very well and the Crown Princess was prepared.

– It was a very nice conversation in Trondheim, the float well and she had read up.

– What did you talk about?

– The starting point for literature train, this time, was identity. We talked a lot about the author’s identity and identity in literature. So we talked a lot about it to talk autobiographical versus the writing fiction. We also talked a bit about writing habits and reading habits.

Mette-Marit liked books

Helga Flatland has been selected as one of ten authors who will hold talks with Crown Princess during Literature flight from Trondheim to Lillehammer. She says she got a call from the castle.

– They called me and said they’d have me on this literature train because Mette-Marit had the read and liked my books.

– What do you think about that?

– It is of course very nice. That’s fine for me, but it’s also very good PR for the literature. Crown Princess is very concerned that young people should read and what she had thought to focus on this time, says Flatland.
