Anne Meara is dead (85) – TV 2

Meara started his career with husband Jerry Stiller (87) in the 1950s and has appeared in countless films and television programs.

Irish-ancestry Meara was born in New York in 1929. She married Stiller in 1954, and the two worked for years as a comedian duo.

– The two were married for 61 years and worked together for almost as long, according to a statement from the family, writes AP.

Anne and Jerry are the parents of the famous actor Ben Stiller (49), who has played in a number of well-known films like “Zoolander,” “Meet the Parents” and “There’s Something About Mary.” Also their daughter, Amy Stiller, is an actress.



Deliver on through the children

– Her memory lives in the hearts of her daughter Amy and his son Ben, her granddaughter, the rest of the family and friends and all the people she entertained as an actor, writer and comedian, printer family statement said.

Meara was nominated for the prestigious television award Emmy twice during his career. She died 85 years old.
