(Page2): One of the most prominent actors in “The Simpsons” are now choosing to leave the TV series.

Harry Shearer has been with the series since its inception in 1989, and he has given voice to important characters like Mr. Burns, Ned Flanders and Principal Skinner.

This is the end.

Leaving the series

Will Down Flanders will be the same with the new voice?

CNN reported that Shearer withdraws from the popular animated series.

– When “The Simpsons” continues in its 27th and 28th season, will not Harry Shearer longer be involved, says the show’s manager Al Jean said.

He notes that they do not plan to take life of the characters, or otherwise remove them from the series.

– We will replace him with the most talented people in the voice acting community, he said.

There is no doubt that the series goes through a big change when many of the popular characters get new voices.

Want greater freedom

The reason why Shearer now choose to join, will be that he has been offered a contract that gives him less room to take up work outside “The Simpsons. ”

The offer of $ 14 million for two years of work, did not help. On its own Twitter profile he explains election and wish the show’s producer James L. Brooks all good.

Shearer has given voice to several of the series’ most popular characters, such as the school principal Seymour Skinner, newscaster Kent Brockman, the boss at the nuclear plant Mr. Burns, the eternally faithful assistant Waylon Smithers, neighbor Ned Flanders, pastor Tim Lovejoy, Doctor Hibbert, buddy Lenny Leonard, school bus driver Otto Mann, actor Rainier Wolf Castle and Dr. Marvin Monroe.

Although Shearer has made it clear that he will resign, should the producers have given up yet. It should therefore continuing a negotiation still.
