- She is mad or stupid as a bread – Side2

(Page2): This day has Lise Karlsnes and the rest of Briskeby waited for several days. Today released namely music video for the new single of the band, called “Rookie Mistakes’.

The music video reminiscent of a short film, where Lise Karlsnes clinging to the roof of a Jaguar in speed, and tries to smash route to get into the car.

Outside it was still winter, snow on the roads, and several degrees below zero in the air. Lise Karlsnes was dressed in a leather jacket and jeans, and lay on the roof of a car that drove eighty kilometers per hour.

– It was incredibly cold and I was full of adrenaline, but I actually was not afraid even once, says Karlsnes to Side2.

Did stunts himself

Lise Karlsnes had a stunt double in the music video, but as they filmed it became clear that Lise more than gladly did several of the stunts himself. In the finished product she stands for nearly 80 percent of the content.

DID MUCH EVEN: The production team had not counted on that Lise Karlsnes should do as much of the stunts themselves. Photo: Producers

– I think probably not production had figured that I would be so fearless, but the whole team I worked with was so insanely good, and then I felt both safe and cared for. Although I was lying on the roof of a car and was thrown around, I was never afraid that it was dangerous, she said.

Also the scene where Lisa gets thrown from the roof and down the side of the car, she stood for itself. She had to film the scene ten times and each time was elastic around the waist a little looser, and she fell a little further down.

– She’s either completely mad or stupid as bread, jokes Claus Heiberg, drummer and Briskeby producer for the film company candidate, who produced the music video.

Sets questions

When you see the music video, the chances that you are left with more questions than answers quite so great. Why exactly is the men in the car died, and why does not Lise Karlsnes over the wheel when she first manage to get in?

All of this is included from the band side, and is a way they want to build excitement.

– There is a reason why this video has gotten “Part VII” in the title. This is the seventh part of a whole history, and therefore you do not get answers to everything you want to know. Next single, the next part of the story being published, but we can say so that it is not in a chronological order, said Heiberg.

With this they wanted and take music video back to where it started in the 80s and 90s, when most music videos told a story.

– We thought a bit like Michael Jackson. He was very good at telling a story in his musical videos and there we also wanted to do. We wanted to go a little outside the box, says the director of the film, Shaun Highton.

Rough handling

There lying on top of a car in the biting cold while being tossed back and forth is not glamorous treatment, we believe Lise Karlsnes.

– My legs were covered with bruises, for in that production is not expected that I would do as many stunts himself, had they not been included protection for the type of treatment, she says.

Also, when she would turn into the car window, she took herself to take a crack at.

– I hit the so hard that my hand was almost twice as big as normal day afterwards. I wanted it to look believable, so I hit just as hard as I could. Afterwards I realized that maybe I should calm down a few notches, she says.

– But one thing is certain … Lise Karlsnes was a fabulous actor, we could not have asked for anything better, he adds.

Now wait just band on the rest of the population to watch the video, and hopefully come with their own theories about what really happened at the forefront of the music video.

– We hope that people will get involved, but it can be scary to set the bar too high. Now we are focusing only on that at least ten people will see it, jokes Shaun Higton, the man who also stands behind the viral Facebook video with over twelve million views.
