Jørn Hoel sings out against VG-reviewer – VG

Jørn Hoel, who has received everything from dice three to five from VG Stein Østbø “Every time we meet,” believes music reviewer “have no idea”.

Jørn Hoel (58) is the last guest of honor out in “Every time we meet.” Reviewers also sits tonight ready with the dice. Hoel, who themselves have to be judged this time, is nervous on the other’s behalf when they now are “in fire” with his songs.

– I have become very fond of them and know how much time they have loaded it. My assessment is certainly very different than both VG and Dagbladet, predicts Hoel.

Clear voice

Popveteranen has a strained relationship with dice. He has always had, and it is not improved by “Every time we meet.”

VG longtime music journalist Stein Østbø (50) has every Saturday rendered its judgment on the artists’ contributions and interpretations. Hoel has received the following dice – in that order: Dice wooden dice four, five dice, dice five dice three and five dice. “More fun than good” and “magnificent” are key words that have been used.

– How do you cope feedback Østbø?

– Stein Østbø have no idea. It can greet him and say. He should learn more about the music and playing guitar until he gives the dice. It is too serious for that. And that, I think.

– Can you elaborate?

– It can be compared with that I should report the literature. Then I would think that one book was cool and another maybe not quite so cool. Some critics have depth when it comes to the craft. I was at the restaurant with Eyvind Hellstrom once. He commented the food on a scientific basis. Yes, they were not so lucky with the cooking process, but seasoning was very good. One must have nuances . When is it more respectful of it.

– And Østbø lacks nuances, do you?

– Stein Østbø is good when he reviewer Bruce Springsteen because he loves Bruce Springsteen. When there are things he does not love, he is not as proficient.

Hoel believes that when a dice is given, so it’s like over .

– It is difficult to reverse. Only the main impression is left. But for people who have worked long with something, then it’s over in a flash – whether it is good or weak dice. It’s like if you get horny on a lady, so put it in, and then it goes for you right away. The feeling, says Hoel and costs wearing his trademark laughter.

– What Dagbladet dice? Music Reviewer Øyvind Rønning scatters also out criticism and praise every Saturday.

– My thought about dice really applies all but maybe Rønning is a little closer to the music in “Every time we meet” than Østbø, responding Hoel.

– sprengkåt blackcock

VG Stein Østbø take criticism from Jørn Hoel with great tranquility.

– As a critic, I must endure to get criticism back. But I have thus been music critic for nearly 25 years and hears fine when Jørn Hoel sings with sensual warmth and when he approaches the sound of a sprengkåt blackcock. That is also a professional assessment in line with Hell Strom dissatisfaction with pan juices, says Østbø.

He thinks the criticism is both strange and little justified.

– Firstly my dice in ‘ every time we meet “never been higher on average than in this season for the other powers not Hoel to pinpoint any specific lack of” shades “. He is also suddenly very general when he says that “some critics” lacks depth. I love Jorn, I, but here I sense perhaps that “Every time we meet” -deltakelsen his may have cut guy ropes to land again, as was the case in the late 1980s, says Østbø.

– A kind of charm

Its strong opinions notwithstanding, tromsøværinger Hoel claims that he did not really follow so closely the dice throws around “every time we meet.”

– But I often made aware of it, and each time I am amazed.

He believes it often becomes evident how individual reviewers’ guesswork is.

– As when television series “Mammon” was hailed by some and got total harvest of others. There are simply personal, and I realize that it is a kind of charm in it, chuckling Hoel.

He says the way the rough recording days on the farm in Moss last summer.

– to coexist through long days when the microphone is on constantly, it is hard. I do not remember everything I said. The positive thing is that this is a “feelgood” program. The danger of making a fool out, is not present, although it obviously was awesome to play other people’s songs in front of them.

Jørn Hoel confides : – I must have been awful tiresome

Stay tuned throughout the evening for new dice from Stein Østbø.

Next Saturday the last episode and duets that on the poster.
