Bruce Springsteen sweeps “The River” on Ullevaal – Dagsavisen

Bruce Springsteen coming to Oslo and Ullevaal Stadium on June 29, with “The River Tour.”


 
 

A few weeks ago kicked Bruce Springsteen started his acclaimed tour “The River Tour” in Pittsburgh, USA.

This is his first tour in two years. The tour, which got its name in connection with the celebration of the album “The River”, which has 35-year anniversary, arriving in Europe and Ullevaal Stadium in Oslo on June 29, according to the organizers in a statement.


 
 

– This is a gift to the old fans. “The River” was his breakthrough in Norway, and it looks as if he is going to perform double album in its entirety. – I do not know what it is with Norway, but it just clicks the first time we were here. It was well early 80s, I think, told Springsteen told reporters before the concert in Telenor Arena April 29, 2013.


 
 

– We go from 1 May. What does your day for you, asked Dagsavisen.

 
 

– You know the United States has not May 1 as in Europe. We have Labour day, but it is also there. But here in Europe means the day much. It’s something I know when I’m here, and I was impressed with the significance of May 1st here in Europe. In particular I remember, from the beginning of the 80s, how important this day is here, said Springsteen at the time.
