His friendship with the deceased tab Anette pipes still Jørn Hoel to tears … – kjendis.no

(Dagbladet :) In the last episode of “Every time we meet” on TV2 says Jørn Hoel about friendship with Anette Kolstad Steinkjer, who in 2005 died of a rare muscle disorder.

Anette Kolstad was big fan of Jorn Hoel music and despite the fact that she was in a wheelchair, she was in the audience every time idol played near his hometown Steinkjer.

To Dagbladet says Hoel he always spoke with Anette after their concerts.

– She arrived at my concerts for many years. She sat in a wheelchair, had joined by two nurses and communicated via a computer. We always used to talk after my concerts, says Hoel.



Got own song

During one of the meetings between the two, promised Kolstad that the next time they met she would meet Hoel on a bicycle. According Hoel shook the two nurses head a little of this.

When Hoel played in Steinkjer one year after this meeting, he had agreed to meet Kolstad before the concert.

– Suddenly Anette cyclists against me on a specially fitted bike in a parking lot. It was very inspiring. We had a long chat and she said that the next time I came so we should dance together, says Hoel.

His friendship with Anette inspired Hoel to write the song “Cumbia too stiff hips” in 2000. Then Hoel played song on NRK program “Tore follow” the same year, appeared a familiar face in the crowd.

Tore Strømøy had in fact arranged it so that the two would meet, without Hoel knew about it.

– At the end of the concert I saw a man in the audience who stood and danced. It was Anette. It was incredibly strong and showed the enormous willingness she had to reach the goals she sat down, says Hoel told Dagbladet.

– A special friendship

Hoel and Kolstad communicated regularly by e -mail in between meetings. When he in 2005 got the message from the family about Anettes death he took it hard. Dagbladet says Hoel he still think a lot about Anette.

– When I talk about it now, and I still as touched as I was ten years ago. Whenever I sing “Cumbria too stiff hips” so it is very strong, because I still think about her, says Hoel.

The artist is full of praise for his late friend and says she still inspired him.

– She had the will which was hugely inspiring. Despite pain and sickness so thinks she never and she was intelligent and very funny, says Hoel.

Anettes father Esten Kolstad, told Dagbladet that the family appreciates Jørn Hoel’s warm words about her daughter.

– It meant very much for Anette. She had all the plates and had plenty of pictures of Jorn on the wall. But the human characteristics that Jorn showed was just as important. It was a very nice friendship , says Esten Kolstad.
