Give away new album with concert ticket – Dagsavisen

Red Hot Chili Peppers guests Fornebu and Telenor Arena on September 8. The band has been around since 1983 and has had hits like “Give It Away” and “Under the Bridge” takes hold and sell his new album on the new show. Anyone who buys a ticket to the tour will also present a copy of “The Getaway” band’s new full length album. The album, which is produced that Danger Mouse and mixed by Nigel Godrich, the band’s eleventh number and will accompany the ticket, either physical or digital copy.

In these flow times it may seem pointless to “get” an album as a gift. But Red Hot Chili Peppers is enough ei like group that has fans who would like to possess a record for real. I see that ticket buyers also can choose a physical edition, so then, well, this is a certain value to the public. The physical record sales are anyway so marginally that giving away the album this way hardly damages turnover appreciably, sir Daily newspaper music critic Geir Rakvåg.

The sale or gift

American Red Hot Chili Peppers, consisting of Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith and Josh Klinghoffer has won six Grammys and sold more than 60 million records.

Whether the band is giving away or selling their records are not the most important, believes Rakvåg.

The most interesting is the album itself is something to have. It’s getting a while ago Red Hot Chili Peppers was a great band, says Rakvåg.
