Lover top security under Bieber concert – NRK

When Justin Bieber appeared at the Opera House roof in Oslo in 2012 was frenetic conditions among the public. Both police and security guards faced major challenges in controlling the fans.

When the 21-year-old superstar will guest Senkveld and hold a mini concert at Chateau Neuf, 29 October, security should be optimal.

– The security is extremely well cared for, says Marketing Director of Universal Music Norway, Gjermund MOASTUEN.

– Based on the experience of 2012 and the Oslo concerts after we have been in close dialogue with the police and the security company. They have a very solid plan in Chateauneuf, he said.



Travelling without being invited

Bieber will hold their mini concert in the Great Hall, which can accommodate about 1,000 people. Those who will be hit must either have to be invited or winning tickets.

Rano Akbar is the person behind Bieber Blog JDBNorway, and says she is going to meet up outside regardless of whether she wins or not.

– I have already booked tickets. I think it’s going to be less fuss. He has lost fans and the concert’s not open, she said.



– You know it will demand

The last time Justin Bieber played in Norway, there was a huge security ombudsmen around the Telenor Arena.

– The experience they have brought forth. The same company has worked with everything from One Direction to the biggest football matches. There are people with great experience and we greatly trust in them, says Gjermund MOASTUEN.

– We know there is demand. We just hope that people use head. We are also concerned with those under 16 who have won a ticket, bring a guardian.



HUGE SECURITY INTEREST AROUND TELENOR ARENA: Last Justin Bieber performed in Norway were security on top, according to the organizers. They promise the same thing this time.

Police safety

Police Superintendent Lars NJØS says police role is primarily to assist Universal, TV2 and security company Prosec, to organize the event on a safe and sound manner. He mentions still some security measures they will implement.

– There will be a fence around the area and we will assist with audiences around the area and possibly directing traffic if it comes so many people.

Universal also warns against fake tickets and ask people stay away. You do not win tickets, then you have no chance to see Bieber.
