Petter Stordalen says Gunhild considering euthanasia and roses for courage and openness – kjendis.no

(Dagbladet): Today launched Petter Stordalen his first book. “I’ll tell you my secret” is not high valley’s story about what he has done, but the story of how hotel king performed their feats, laws Aller Publishing, which publishes the book.

Switzerland is the only country in Europe that allows foreigners to request physician-assisted termination of life. This is illegal in Norway, as in most other countries. Stordalen would not comment on the case beyond what is written in his book.

– If I were to write an honest book, I was forced to share difficult discussions and unpleasant issues that have surfaced along the way. In the book I have written about it in a way I can vouch for. More I have not attributing, he says in an interview with Our Country.



Euthanasia

He also tells the newspaper that the future of his wife Gunhild still uncertain. Still, he must await and see if his wife’s health ever be what it was.

– Illness nature so that it goes a bit up and down slightly. Some periods are good, some are bad. We are on a journey that we do not know if will take twelve or eighteen months, and that way it will be. We just have to wait and see, he says

Humanetiker and former chairman of the association Right to a Dignified Death, Levi Fragell, roses Petter Stordalen for his openness about his wife’s illness and the possibilities for treatment in Switzerland .

– I perceive it clearly so that Petter says that euthanasia is a respectable and dignified solution, if you come here that there is no other way of life.
