Paradise Hotel-contract: – Must sign that they may be filmed without knowing it – Page2

(Page2): This year’s Paradise Hotel on TV3 is underway. Monday was the participants gathered in Oslo for the premiere party, and even then could anyone admit that there is romance at once.

But before attendees checked into the scandal hotel in Mexico and the recording began, they had to sign a comprehensive contract . VG has gone through a previous contract that shows what reality folks binds. Among other things, it says in the contract that they are not allowed to divulge contents, be previously convicted or indicted. They’re not allowed to spread disease, and going ahead through a health check. In addition, they must sign a declaration that they can be filmed in situations they are not aware that they are filmed, even when they are naked.

In the contract it says on their commitment to events and interviews. They have no rights on the material itself and the production company and the TV channel could negotiate commercial exploitation of participants.

VG has talked to lawyer Thor-Arne Wullum in Storeng, Beck & amp; Due Lund. He reacts to the contract, and especially what he calls a violent bias.

– participants held with skin and hair, both during the production, but also after the recording is finished, he says and quickly set:

– One of the most strongly binds the participants, is that TV3 can give them media ban for one year from the last application submitted. Participants may not receive payment from other media or other entities, nor otherwise initiate or cooperate in any commercial activity in this period. TV3 must approve everything they do, so they granted the exclusive rights, see Wullum.

TV3 says to VG that Paradise Hotel contract is a standard contract. Press Officer Line Vee Hanum in TV3 / MTG TV do not mean participants have a bad agreement.

– Such contracts do have a very legal language that can act unilaterally, but I do not agree that it’s a bad deal to be with, she says.
