“Queer Eye” s Halvor Bakke (45) and her husband Ricard Fagerström (41) married in 2006.

10 years after they have gone every man to his. Last week they were close friends and family informed about the violation.

– We separated as good friends and wish each other well for the future. Beyond that I do not want to give any comments, says Halvor to Look and Listen.

– The church was my life

Halvor finding success with the program “Adventurous refurbishment” on TV3, and is now in full time with the recording of a new season. He also designed furniture collection Bohus and associated Magnor Glassworks.

In connection with the wedding ten years ago told Halvor that he went through a difficult period when he stood out as gay.

Halvor grew up in the Evangelical Lutheran Free church in Brunlanes, where his father Oswald Bakke sat in church top control.

– the church was my life. There I had the long safe and well. I still have a strong belief in God, said Halvor to Look and Listen.

Got withdrawal form

When he read in Frikirke inter leaf that gays did not become member of the denomination, he wrote a letter to the church and told about their orientation.

– I was desperate! I felt alone and begging for help, he has previously told about when he stood out as gay in 1997.

In the church, he was however met with silence. After several months he received a withdrawal form.

To come out of the closet in a small community is not easy. Halvor knew that homosexuality was a problem for the church.

He was terrified that her parents would reject him. But parents Lisa and Osvald Bakke was entirely at her son’s side.

– They have supported me one hundred percent all the way.

In addition to “Adventurous refurbishment” Halvor also made sukess in TV shows like “Queer Eye” and “Norway’s ugliest room.”
