Hellstrom thought he saw the kitchen – Seoghør.no

SEOGHØR.NO: Master chef Eyvind Hellstrom (66) are used to experiencing stressful situations in restaurant kitchens around the country.

But when he visits the restaurant “Sherry Haugen» located by Ovrevoll court in Bærum, even the seasoned chef surprised.

CEO Stian Borch Gjetsjø (37) reveals that while there on race day is a lot of people in the restaurant, there are very few customers otherwise a week.

Hellstrøm suggest that he also should make clear tastings from their menu that he can hand out at the next race day, to draw more customers.

However, things do not go as planned when he come to visit to inspect Stian in action.

– Where is the caviar, sour cream and onion? There’s nothing to be made clear here, he noted.

Stian – which itself does most of the work in the kitchen – says that he has not made clear previews, because he misunderstood what Hellstrom said.

It has master chef himself little understanding of. Hellstrom is no doubt what he thought of the routines in the kitchen:

– It is you who should organize up, not me. It’s nothing like going to work here now!

He comes, however, with a proposal for a new feature on the menu, which turns heads at racecourse: steaks of horse meat.

Stian agrees to the proposal, but is fully aware that several of the horse interested customers want to lock eyes.

– A little outcry becomes enough, he says Eyvind Hellstrom.
