“RR” was “this year’s radio name” again: – Did not think we’d win – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): Friday evening celebrated radio industry itself under Prix Radio at Ullevaal Stadion, as an attempt at “Radio Days 2015″.

Under the party was divided out 18 awards in various categories, including “year radio talent”, “year end face” and “this year’s radio name”, where the latter were settled through listening votes on radio.no.

For the sixth time since starting in 2006, Bjarte Tjøstheim and brothers Tore Steinar Sagen with this award home for NRK P13s Radioresepsjonen.

Did not think of victory

– I did not think we’d win this year, says Bjarte Tjøstheim to Dagbladet.

– competition was extra hard because of Cattle Fur and Rune Nilsen. Therefore it was especially great we are very grateful, he adds.

Why listeners voted the Radioresepsjonen think he is difficult to estimate, but Tjøstheim still has a clue.

– We have some disciples, or clients as we call them, who are both numerous and eager, and they vote for us. There are those we have to thank, he said.

Set excited in the audience

His partner, Tore Sagen, was excited when the name would ropes up last night.

– When the ropes up, it’s different every time. Man gets a little junkie of that too, says Sagen Dagbladet, and continues:

– If you had lost, had been passed in the basement, and think “there was the end of the popularity.”

– Always worried

The price for “this year’s radio name” he has become more routine, but also more fun to get every year.

– We’re always very worried and black angry for distribution, especially when we operate on P13 where there is scant with listeners compared with P1 listeners, he said.

He thinks young and computer-literate fans has meant that it has become a tradition for them to win. “Young people in the best data age,” he calls them.

– But it was tough this year and I think it was tiny margin of victory over programs Lønsj, which has a large fan base. Initially we won with around 60 percent of the vote, I think. We will interpret it in the best sense that the other programs have become more popular than we have become less popular, says radio host.

Back on TV

For spring gleams however trio again by their absence from radio to work on television.

– Being on radio has become an autumn thing, but we are still only at the drawing board with TV projects, says Sagen, who also has a central role in NRK series “Side by Side” .
