Editor called by the court 4:00 at night: – King had not received the papers say … – kjendis.no

(Dagbladet): Most of us will probably avoid putting heaven and earth in motion if a newspaper delivery absent. For others, this may be a major annoyance.

Swedish King Carl Gustav is obviously fond of their newspapers – something Maria Schultz, webmaster of the Swedish business newspaper Dagens Industri really have experienced.

On his own Facebook page explains Schultz that she was awakened at 4:00 in the night that her phone rang. And there was not anybody who had turned on the thread, if you believe the webmaster himself.

– Joke?

Here she describes the conversation:

– Attention! This is no joke. The following happened 4:00.

The court: King has not received their newspaper.
I: Eehh, what did you say?
The court: King has not received their newspaper.
I: But, that clock is 04.00, you can not enter online? Or, I mean, I’m just a webmaster for Dagens Industri.
The court: Yes.
I: Is this a joke or what?
The court: No, we decided to call multiple numbers and your were among them.
I: Eeh, jaha … hehe … but you may well call the newspaper between seven o’clock and nine o’clock, then they can certainly be of assistance.
The court: Yes, we may as well do it then. The king is well simply do without Dagens Industri.

– Laughed so hard

Opposite Aftonbladet explains Schultz that she asked his colleagues whether they had received a similar phone call, when she came In at work the morning after.

– When I told her what had happened, everyone laughed so hard that they thought they were going to do in the pants, she says to Aftonbladet.

To get to the bottom of the matter selected webmaster thereby to call back to the same number she had received telephone from the night.

– I got to the reception, and the person who answered me was completely serious. When I asked if the king had received the papers say, he said no, but that he had received Dagens Nyheter and Svenska Dagbladet.

Numbers registered at the court

In writing, Schultz received nearly 1,000 shares and hundreds of “like-click” on a cross.

A few hours ago updated her Facebook page with yet another message in the case.

– The court has contacted me and told that they are investigating who called me last night. To anyone who doubts that the number was registered in court. They could therefore not deny that this has happened. Anyway, we are in the newsroom just happy that the king likes us. It’s just good PR, she writes.

Whether it therefore was the king himself who called, or whether it was one of the employees, are so far not known.
