Gisle Børge Styve ending in “Beat for Beat” – VG

In a short time, two of the three permanent members of the “Beat for Beat” announced his retirement from the popular TV program.

In June it was announced that Ivar Dyrhaug (66) should give himself as “Beat for Beat” -programleder after 17 years on screen.

Now it turns out that profiled pianist program, Gisle Børge Styve (45) also stops.

The next round of “Beat for Beat” goes on the air from 24 October as with new pianist in place.

Malme is secretive when it comes to who gets STYVE successor, but says it is a “brilliant, cozy, musical, charming guy.”

– We looked for someone who has quite a big repertoire. The person must be able to “jump in” and play anything. Someone who is mediator of joy and music, as do artists safe, which is a team player and that looks good on your trip.

Two weeks ago was Atle Pettersen (25) appointed Dyrhaug successor. Thus STYVE departing the other big rotations in the program in a short time.

It is not known how NRK went forward to find a “new” Gisle Børge Styve but when Pettersen was under review he had to audition to convince national broadcaster that he was the right man for the presenter role.
