Dropper Oscars – Clear Voice

The filmmaker Spike Lee and actress Jada Pinkett Smith dropper Oscars next month. They do so because no black actor is nominated to win awards.

The list of nominated actors became known Thursday. But it was the second consecutive year that it was without a single black actor.

Thus revived Twitter emneknaggen #OscarsSoWhite. It was also popular in 2015.

Spike Lee has made films as “Do the Right Thing” and “Inside Man.” He said Monday that he drop the whole ceremony.

– How is it possible for the second time in a row that all 20 competing in the actress category are white? And let’s not go into the other categories, writes Lee on the social networking site Twitter.

He is supported by actress Jada Pinkett Smith. She will also drop the deal. Pinkett Smith has also played for two Matrix movies. She is married to Will Smith.

Cheryl Boone ISAC’s president Oscar Academy. She says that they have made changes in recent years to increase diversity. But that “changes have not come as fast as we would have liked.”
