Kygo was the Year Grammy and Susanne Sundfør received three Grammy Awards Saturday night.
Jarle Bernhoft and Ingebjørg Bratland were program managers for this year’s Grammy-award in Oslo Spektrum, where the industry’s front and traffickers and women gathered to celebrate the country’s best musical achievements in 2015.
Susanne Sundfør was nominated in the categories Pop Solo Artist of the Year, the Year album, year manufacturer and Song of the Year. Perhaps the greatest prize, the Year Grammy, has no nominations. However, according to music experts VG spoke with, was Sundfør a clear favorite.

The winner was still Kygo, Bergenser Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll. He received the Year Grammy trophy presented by last year’s winners Nico & amp; Vinz backstage after a Kygo concert in San Francisco. In Oslo Spektrum followed his sisters, Jenny and John, the presentation via the big screen in the press room and noted excited that he pinched himself lightly on the nostrils, as he usually when he is surprised.

Earlier in the evening won artist Song of the Year for “Stole The Show Feat. Parson James. ” Sisters Kygo, Jenny and John Gørvell-Dahl, accepted the award on behalf of her brother, and read takkeord from him.
– First I want to say a big thank you to my family, who have supported me from the first moment. I also want to thank my friend and not least my girlfriend, who endure with me when I have a head full of music and not always present, was modest.

Sundfør relationship with Grammy has not been without controversy. When she was chosen as the female artist in 2007, she accepted the award by pointing out that she was first and foremost an artist, not primarily female. When she was nominated in the same category in 2011, she pulled out of the whole price. From 2012 dropped Grammy gender graded categories.
Kygo was the year’s most nominated: As Newcomer of the Year and the Year manufacturer, in addition to having two candidates for Song of the Year and one of the Year video. He received two awards in total.

Susanne Sundfør was victorious in class Year Pop Solo Artist, and described the award as “overwhelming.” She also set a record for the evening’s shortest speech, by simply saying “Thank you”, before she left the stage.

When she shortly thereafter received the award as the year’s producer, for his own album “Ten Love Songs “, she had to get the shoe away from the shoe up in the long bead embroidered dress before she got thanks for the statuette.

Then Sundfør won tonight’s third award, for the album “Ten Love Songs”, told how much she meant to her plate.
– There has been a totally insane roller coaster to create this disc. It made me a little mentally ill even, said triple winner.
Her album “Ten Love Songs” was named the year’s best album by the Norwegian press, and topped VG charts for three weeks. The album is now in its 53 week in the Top 40.

Pee needed in acceptance speech
First price out was Best Newcomer and a Gramo scholarship of NOK 250,000, which Carp Diem distributed to Aurora Aksnes.
An overwhelmed Aurora thanked manager and parents, and rounded off his speech by saying that she had been drinking too much water in the evening, and had very to the bathroom.
In the press room shortly thereafter asked Aksnes if she really had said from the stage that she had to do, and laughed a little exasperated with himself.

When frontman in Rock winners Beglomeg, Raymond T. Hauger, shared out Danseband award, he proclaimed a tribute to “the nominees party fix forwards,” before he ran around in a circle and shouted out winners Gluntan.
Duo with “date nights”
The duo Bow to Each Other, who is also married to one another, Norwegian Gunnhild Ramsay Kristoffersen and Canadian Megan Kovacs, beating both a-ha and Marcus & amp; Martinus class year’s pop group.
– We have not thought about it, but it’s totally sick that we beat a-ha, says Kristoffersen to the press shortly after they received the award.
– It’s a pretty “huge deal” that we beat Marcus & amp; Martinus also, says Kovacs.
The duo says that the album “My Heart Is a Target” was created during an intensive period in which they wrote the music for four months and recorded the whole disc in six months. Susanne Sundfør which Kristoffersen has played in the band, produced their debut album. Plate they won with Saturday night is produced by Erlend Mokkelbost.
– How do you balance you work and private life when you are working so closely together?
– We have the both work next door, so we see each other in short, intense periods and then it’s always fun, says Kovacs.
– But we make sure to set the “date nights,” so It not only gets the job when we are together, ascribe Kristoffersen.
