- Regret Sophie Elise campaign – ht.no

Håkon Ødegaard in Norwegian People say they never should have paid blogger Sophie Elise Isachsen to participate in a campaign, and that they felt pressured by an advertising agency. The newspaper VG.

The statements from kommunkasjonssjef in Norwegian People’s Aid came during an interview with NRK Kulturnytt Friday morning.

– We should not have done it

The blog post got a lot of attention, and led to the girl from Harstad got massive proportionality and a variety of threats.

Several also criticized the humanitarian organization of wasting funds by taking advantage of such campaigns, and thought it weakened their reputation as a serious player.
