(Dagbladet): After the news about the British actor Alan Rick Mans deaths became known today, has memory words from friends and colleagues poured in.

Rickman, lately perhaps best known for his role as Professor Severus Snape in the “Harry Potter” films, died of cancer.

Daniel Radcliffe who played Harry Potter in a total of eight films, writes that Rickman was the first adult actor who treated him as an equal colleague, and not a child. Radcliffe was only eleven years old when he played Harry Potter for the first time.

– Alan was extremely kind, generous, self-ironic and funny, writes Radcliffe.

– [He] is arguably one of the greatest actor I ever worked with.

Radcliffe describes he is also extremely loyal and a great friend, and writes that Rickman always contacted again if they tried to reach him – wherever one was in the world or how busy he was.

– He supported me both on the film set (to “Harry Potter” films, ed.’s note.) and in the years after Potter. I am reasonably sure that he got to see everything I did on stage since, both in London and New York, writes Radcliffe about Rickman.

He quit his obituary as follows:

– Movie Set and theaters are all far poorer for the loss of this great actor and man.

The author JK Rowling, who wrote books and was eventually made into a film, writing on Twitter about the actor:

– There are no words that can describe how shocked and shattered I’m having heard about Alan Rick Mans deaths. He was a brilliant actor and a wonderful man, she writes.

Emma Watson, who played the character Hermione Granger, write on Facebook that she will miss the conversations she had with Rickman.

– I feel so fortunate to have worked with and spent time with such a special man and actor, writes Watson.
