Admiral P: – It took time before I would speak Norwegian – Seoghør.no

“Every time we meet” -aktuelle Admiral P struggled to adapt to his new life in Norway, after his father became seriously ill.

Had to dabble in Norwegian

He says he still sings some in English, but «admiral» believes that Norwegian language music quickly find itself in a unique position in Norway.

In both 2011 and 2013, he was nominated for a Grammy with two of his Norwegian hit songs. And in 2014 he won a Grammy for this year’s hit with the song ‘Angel’ with Nico D (34).

– You did not hit the Norwegian people with English, at least not at that time I started. So I had to try me in Norwegian. Otherwise I do not think it had funka so well. I sing and speak a little differently, it is perhaps a bit of charm, says Admiral P to Seoghør.no today.
