15 minutes after it was known, Agnete favorite to win this year’s Eurovision – Side2

(Page2): Finally the wait is over for eager MGP fans! Now this year’s artists are revealed, and we know who will compete to represent Norway in May.

Last year, the Swedish Måns Zelmerlöw Eurovision final in Vienna, and the year Eurovision circus will therefore be held in Stockholm.

Kaare Magnus Bergh and Silye Nymoen should be program managers this year, while Jan Fredrik Karlsen is musical director for the first time. Karlsen spoke about music choices in Nitimen:

ENTHUSIASTIC: Jan Fredrik Karlsen’s new MGP-general.

– We have not gone for the biggest names, but the fattest tunes with lots of hungry MGP artists who are going to deliver one hundred percent in the final, said Jan Fredrik NRK.

Since it is Jan Fredrik Karlsen’s first year as MGP-general, it is clear that he needs to put his stamp on the Norwegian final, as his predecessors before him.

Karlsen is known for its enormous enthusiasm for their projects and has guaranteed brought it also into the MGP. He was certainly more energetic than a lemming on speed at the press conference. It was more yelling and screaming at five minutes with Karlsen than during the run-up to the Tour de Ski.

These are the 10 artists who will perform on stage in Oslo Spektrum on 27 February:

Side2 provides what we mean:

1. Suite 16 – “Anna Lee”

A kind Norwegian One Direction. Looks like a russebuss-gang from Bærum in matching college jackets. Impossible to say anything sensible about the song in 15 seconds, but it is undoubtedly a classic boyband song.

2. Stine Hole Ulla – “Traces”

Stine has beautiful voice and has previously used it to win the Norwegian Talents. Jan Fredrik cried the first time he heard the song, it did not we, but she’s sure to stand for one of tonight surest appearances.

3. Stage Dolls – “Into the Fire”

How did this happen? Stage Dolls in Eurovision? I need some rest, right plain! God, I hope this song is good! Hard to say anything after 15 seconds, but it sounded like the Stage Dolls at least.

4. Elouiz – «History»

The highest heels and the reddest hair at the press conference anyway. For us a completely unknown quantity, but sounded like the voice was good, at least. She is Swedish and speaks distinctly svorsk – well she sings in English then.

5. Freddy Kalas – “Happy Rush”

The man who has given us such classics as “pin for the country” will now create a party in MGP. This year’s “Good fried pizza”. The elders called experts come to flood Twitter with egotistical know-it-sarcasm, the youngest will vote cash cards blank.

6. Makeda – “Stand Up”

Super cool girl with equally cool voice – otherwise we do not know so much about her other than that she was part of The Voice in 2013. It will be exciting to hear all song.

7. Pegasus – “Anyway”

Tonight dance band alibi, but the song sounds most of all like a good, old-fashioned power ballad. Herlig rånete guys from Oppsal. We can like!

8. Laila Samuels – “Afterglow”

Best known as a songwriter for others, are exciting to see her take the lead role himself. The voice is there at least no say on.

9. The hungry Hearts ft. Lisa Dillan – “Laika”

Tonight certainly strangest contributions with a bunch of performance artists. Was presented as a freakshow without equal, but the song sounded so far little cool and 80s like out. Maybe it becomes a hit in Eastern Europe?

10. Agnete – “Icebreaker”

Agnethe sings absolutely fantastic – we know both from MGP Junior and Star Game. Track Icebreaker is a Katy Perry-esque ballad and it sounds mildly very promising.

Already 15 minutes after participation became known, tipped bookmakers that her great favorite.
