Maurice White is dead – Adresseavisen

The brother Verdin says that White died in his home in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The former studio musician founded Earth, Wind & amp; Fire at the end of the 1960s. The group had great success and has sold over 90 million albums worldwide. Among the most famous songs was “September,” “Shining Star” and “Boogie Wonderland,” and a remake of The Beatles’ “Got To Get You Into My Life”.

Earth, Wind & amp; Four won six Grammy Awards and in 2000 was incorporated into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
