Kylie onto Kylie: “Second-rate celebrity” – kjendis.no

(Dagbladet): Who do you think when you hear the name Kylie? The Australian pop star Kylie Minogue (47), perhaps? Or reality- and internet queen Kylie Jenner (18)?

Well, it’s certainly no room for both.

then youngest-Kylie tried to secure the rights of girl name, to create a greater brand in the US, it was trouble.

“Kylie effect”

newspaper The Guardian writes that Minogue, who used the stage name “Kylie” before the 29-year younger sister’s name could crab, will find themselves in Jenners branding.

The pop star’s lawyers have therefore filed a counterclaim to the US Patent Office, demanding that Kylie Jenner find another way to bolster their name.

The lawyers stressed how the so-called “Kylie effect”, which apparently was a common expression after Minogue got breast cancer in 2005, and the musician’s website, Kylie.com, who has taken since the late 90s.

According to Billboard yesterday 47-year-old management hard words with the Jenners lifestyle and believes 18-year-old brand registration will weaken Minogue credibility.

Makeup and jewelry

In documents to the patent office described 18-year-old as a “second-rate celebrity” with a “supporting role in a reality series,” which is best known for “vulgar photographs and controversial messages on social Media”.

Not good mood Minogue camp, that is.

Jenner, who supposedly will ensure “Kylie” to launch own products like makeup and jewelry, has not commented on the counterclaim.
