“The wave” hit Molde audience with full force – Romsdals Budstikke

The expectations for blockbuster “wave” has been soaring, and the movie has received rave krtikker.

Norway’s first disaster film was recorded in Geiranger and examines the events when mountain party Åkneset races into the fjord, creating a 80 meter high tsunami. Friday August 28th was the premiere.



The movie everyone will see

In Molde soaked audience to the cinema, and 2,218 people saw the film in the opening weekend. It was associated with excitement to the “wave” could turn visitor numbers to “Max Manus”, and with its 1630 visitors must “Max Manus” beaten by “wave.”

Cinema Manager Geir Hammerø think this is the film all to see.

– “wave” has hit with full force “people are over themselves with excitement over the film’s qualities, he said.

Brilliant nationwide

Nordisk Film Printer in a press release that the entire 135,268 enthusiastic crowds have flocked to movie theaters across the country to see the movie. “The wave” acquires thus the bronze to the “Max Manus” on the list of the best Norwegian opening weekend in theaters. On Saturday it was already the most watched Norwegian movie at the cinema this year.
