Supreme and PST can contribute to a reign of terror – also over Amtas … – Amtstidende

Today, not our Supreme Court justices have terror panic. In front of them the judges issue of Police Security Service (PST) shall confiscate filmmaker Ulrik Imtiaz Rolfsen memory sticks and hard drives containing footage from a documentary about the Islamic community in Norway. Rolfsen complained seizure of unpublished material before the court, but lost both the District Court and Court of Appeal. The court, however, decided that PST will not see through the material until the matter is finalized today.

About the Supreme choose to PST access Rolfsen material will not only have consequences for him and his work, but also for all who work in difficult cases where sources are or may be open. This will also affect Amta. PST user need for protection and the fight against terrorism as an argument for the seizure. But let PST access journal racist material will destroy our ability to illuminate and detect. We are working for the same cause, on each our way. Supreme and PST can contribute to a reign of terror over the journalistic work, nationally and locally. For sources, journalists and editors.

We are working for the same cause, but on opposite way.
