(page2) – We’d love shown song that Bieber did for the fans before he left the stage. Unfortunately, not Universal Music Norway and the artist responsible given us permission to do so, says says Jan-Petter Dahl, communication manager at TV 2 in a press release.
When Justin Bieber (21) visited Oslo and “Late Night” recently, he would sing six songs on stage at Chateauneuf. The pop star left the stage after just one song, because it was spilled water on stage.
The concert was supposed to be sent as a special program Friday in “Late Night Special: Justin Bieber.” But TV 2 is not allowed to show one song Bieber performed.
Previously, Dahl said that Bieber interruption is a clear violation of the agreement they had with him. 21-year-old should perform a mini concert, so they had enough material for a special program.
Here you can see Bieber on stage at Chateau Neuf:
– Has been challenging
– We should of course wanted to show the whole song, and it happened around. But that we do not get permission. We think that is regrettable, says Dahl TV 2Nyhetskanalen Thursday night.
He said that they have not received a proper explanation as to why they can not send Bieber performance on stage. He admits that the dialogue with the artist management and record company has been challenging.
– We wanted to show everything. There has been much forward and back the last few days. We went through the last half an hour ago.
The solution they have come up with is that TV 2 will be sending material from a camera crew followed Bieber through Oslo visit . He visited among others Eikeli School in Bærum, and were at a skate park at Bekkestua.
– In our special we follow Justin Bieber on visits to school and skate park, plus we get to see exclusive photos of him backstage at Chateau Neuf where he meets Norwegian fans, says Dahl.
Much attention
There has been a lot of printers on Justin Bieber’s visit to Oslo. The news went around the world, and both British and American newspapers wrote about the artist’s tantrums.
The fans and television viewers were deeply disappointed, but one of those who takes Bieber in defense, blogs Sophie Elise .
The documentary will be sent immediately after Senkveld tomorrow, Friday kl. 23.20.
