Toffen revives Quartfestival – has big plans for the summer – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): No, it’s not a joke: In summer, the festival founder Toffen Gunnufsen the twentieth Quart festival in Kristiansand.

– It is appropriate to celebrate an event that has had great significance for the city and all music-Norway, says festival founder Toffen Gunnufsen.

Quart festival has also written themselves into history by pulling the musically inclined Crown Prince Haakon Southern Norway, where he met Mette-Marit Tjessem Høiby in 1999.

– Yes, it was when it started – Haakon was big fan of A Tribe Called Quest, I remember. Now we must of course invite Crown Prince and Princess back. Hope they can come and have a good time, says Toffen Gunnufsen.
