Mosserød school pupils were eager participants in “Blim! dances» Friday.
Friday morning stood dancing on the program by Mosserød school. It was namely clear for this year’s edition of “Blim! – Dance” directed by NRK Super. When the clock struck 12:00 resounded year’s song, “Dilla on” in the schoolyard. Around 350 students (and teachers) swung to the music, and turned eagerly dance steps.
– It’s great fun to dance, told sjuåring Gaby Haraldsen, Isabelle Aimee Waal and Marthe Olsen Forseth eagerly.
– We have practiced mass, they added.
During the dance students received good help from the school welfare leaders from 4th – 7th grade . They were called fordansere, and showed off dance moves – both front and among peers.
– We participated in this dance last year too. It fits well to the welfare program and anti-bullying our work, says Jo Arne Ellingsen, Vice 5.-7. Step by Mosserød school.
Last year 180,000 students throughout Norway with the dance, while a record number of 325,000 danced simultaneously in years. Among them were Mosserød- students. In addition, several other Sandefjord-schools.
Many of the schools, including Mosserød, filmed dance session. The videos can be seen on the websites of NRK.
