Habiba out of The Farm: – The racist attitudes does not surprise – Side2

(Page2): In Sunday’s episode of “The Farm” was the Sørlands girl Habiba stray who had to pack my bag and leave the farm. 21-year-old lost the duel against Marit Fiskum (54).

Despite only having been on the farm for five days, the cheery southern girl has become a favorite of many viewers. Habiba says that most of the feedback after participation in the program has been good.

– The vast majority are incredibly nice. Some have asked for autographs to family who are watching, while others have come with some kind words when I met them on the street. Unfortunately, I have seen on some Internet forums and comment fields that some people think it is completely wrong that Jasdeep (Singh Kalirai red. Journ) and I participate in the program because we have a different ethnic background. They have written that it is totally unrealistic that someone who “us” can be on a farm in Norway in 1915, tells Stray to Page2.

21-year-old mother is from Norway, while her father is from Somalia. Although she has lived all life in Norway and grown in southern Norway. Stray says she is not surprised by some of the attitudes she has come across.

– That someone sitting inside with such racist opinions I am not surprised. I just think it’s very sad and sorry. I am the born and raised here, and feel 100 percent Norwegian.

She adds that all the negative feedback has come in the form of anonymous postings on-line.

– It is very easy to hide on the internet. Is no one who has said this to me face to face. Only thing I can do is encourage people to think over what they write on the internet.



– Good single

After participation in “The Farm” has 21-year-old returned to his normal life with studies, friends and travel. The great love she has however not found.

– Hehe. No, I’m pretty well single yet, chuckling Habiba.

– So there has not been many suitors for “The Farm”?

– No, actually not. Which is a shame. I’d really like to have a boyfriend and someone to love, but is probably a bit too picky. But the straight pop up well after each.

– Not bad mood with Marit

It was dramatically when 21-year-old lost the duel against Marit. Habiba was namely quickest to knock down all the pins in the tree trunk, but got not approved by the presenter Gaute Grøtta Grav. Thus it was Marit who got to be left on the farm.

– It’s probably one of the first bite I’ve experienced in life. When I heard Marit chose sledgehammer , I was convinced that I would be the fastest. For I am in good shape and thought I was going to win, says Habiba.

duel: Marit Fiskum was chosen as another challenge and met Habiba in single combat. Although Habiba was the fastest, it was Marit who drew the longest straw.

Sørland girl was only on the farm for five days, but quickly became a pawn in Marit and Silja game. That Habiba chose Marit as a challenger in the duel was therefore not well received by their former allies. To Side2 explains Habiba that she did not regret the choice.

– I have a clear conscience and I feel justified choices I took inside the farm. It was a tough week and I did not really know what I was getting myself into when I joined in alliance with Marit and Silje.

– It was pretty intense between you and Marit night before the duel?

– Yes, it did, but I felt that there was little good with the blowout and. I could say what I thought about their behavior and how they behaved towards the others.

– What is the mood between you and Marit today?

– There is nothing bad mood between us today. That was in the heat of battle. We’ve put it behind us and have met later. We are confessing today, says Habiba.
