The single “A Bridge Over You” from The Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Choir passed Bieber “Love Yourself” on the sale list and was the top when Christmas was dialed into Friday.
It happened two days after Bieber himself took to Twitter to promote the choir.
– In one week it’s okay to not be number 1. Let’s do it right and help them to win. It’s Christmas. Good luck,Choir_NHS, wrote the Canadian heartbreaker.
The choir is based in South East London and consists of employees working in Britain’s public health system. Hit song their is a confusion of Simon and Garfunkel’s “Bridge Over Troubled Water” and Coldplay’s “Fix You”.
And this week had therefore popular artists like Bieber, Adele and One Direction beaten by Britain’s new favorittkor .
