Unexpected humor touches

But not everything was planned in advance. In an attempt to give the film a dose of humor, had Vorlíček hired three famous comedians. One of them, Helena ruzickova, portrayed the role of the rich princess Drobena.

When the film’s ball scene was filmed, put ruzickova opportunity to raise the Prince out on the dance floor – without informing colleague Pavel Trávníček in advance.

– I had said to comedians that they could improvise a bit if they wanted, so we could get some funny scenes. And when Drobena-grade suddenly lifted prince, he had no idea what would happen. He was quite shocked, laughing Vorlíček.

Usually he used to secure two different recordings of each scene, but not this time.

– We had to manage with only one recording – Prince surprised expression was simply too difficult to replicate.
