Oslo (NTB): Jo Nesbø is satisfied that the star of one of his favorite movies will play Harry Hole.
Friday it was announced that Hollywood star Michael Fassbender will play police detective Harry Hole in the film adaptation of scruffy ‘The Snowman’.
– I think Michael Fassbender is a very good choice. Simply because he’s a damn good actor, writes Nesbø in a text message to VG Friday night.
“Shame” I think maybe it was my favorite movie of that year it came, he adds, referring to the British drama from 2011, where Fassbender figured in the lead role and that the Norwegian was titled “Grief and shame.”
The movie that will make Harry Hole to international film completely be recorded in Rjukan – as well as in Bergen and Oslo. The recording starts on January 18.
