The beloved artist never forgets childhood Christmas magic.
SEOGHØR.NO: The popular song star Wenche Myhre (68) has toured around Norway with the show “Wenches July” in December.
68 -year-old has a close relationship with the Christmas holidays, but the strongest Christmas memories she has of his childhood in Kjelsås and Grefsen.
– We were in Grefsen church with dad every Christmas Eve. We had about an hour to walk each way, and it smelled ribs and delicious Christmas food and it was snowing. It was special, says Wenche to Seoghør.no.
Lets bake-law
This year, not the busy artist had time to bake Christmas cookies self, but she has previously stated to Seoghør.no she lets-law stand for cakes.
– Now I am so so lucky to have daughters in law that takes the tradition. So now I’m allowed to smell on the Christmas house, and then I’m out there and sing instead of bake
Playing with girlfriend
Wenche’s boyfriend with Anders Eljas (62), and in November the couple were on tour with the show “An Evening with Wenche and Anders.” Anders has also been conductor of Wenche and The Norwegian Wind Ensemble in “Wenches July.”
– We complement each other amazingly well. We are an extension musically too, in all respects. I just fell for the whole Anders. He is musical and kindhearted, and now we’ve got to be together for 15 years, said Wenche Myhre to Seoghør.no August.
Participates in “Every time we meet “
In January, the artist topical application “Every time we meet” on TV 2. The other participants are Admiral P (33), Unni Wilhelmsen (44), Jørn Hoel (58), Ravi (39), Eva Weel Skram (29) and Henning Kvitnes (57).
